Spectrum Filter
The spectrum filter is the spectral modification and synthesis component of Cycle. Similar to the Time Surface, here is where you edit the mesh wireframe that defines how "spectral profiles" morph with time.
The spectrum filter has two parts--the harmonic magnitude spectrum and the harmonic phase spectrum.
When time is the primary axis, the visualization of the phase spectrum is the unwrapped (what is this?) phase over time. This shows much more useful patterns than the otherwise chaotic wrapped phase spectrum.
Layer Controls
There are two 'blending options' for magnitude layers:
Additive -- the layer adds to the total magnitude surface
Subtractive -- the layer multiplies with the total magnitude surface
